Mini Sephora Haul

I don't usually spend much on make-up but I think I've been spending too much time on this website that I'm openly exposed to advertised beauty products that I didn't even know existed, and will therefore buy due to my insane curiosity. Anywho, I guess that's why I actually bought something from Sephora the last time I went, rather than walking in and out like I usually dolol

Well, anyways, this is a really small haul with products that many of you probably already know. I guess I'm just slow at this makeup thing ahah So first of all, here are all of the products I bought..

 Products from Top to Bottom:
Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay
NARS Radiant Cream Concealer in Custard
Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay
Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector (it's a mouth full to say huh)

Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay
Here's the inside of this beautiful eyeshadow palette(:
It features 12 taupe-hued neutrals and comes with a double-ended shadow/crease brush.
I think the colors are very pretty so I can finally see why everyone loves it so much!!
You get a great color payoff and I think that the palette is versatile so you can use it to
achieve numerous looks. I can't wait to try them all out, I've only used 4 colors so farlol

 Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector
I actually didn't see too many reviews on this product but the reviews
that I did see were fairly good. Most said that it is best for those with oily skin so I was like
"yupp..that's me" ahah. This primer is supposed to control the excess oil on your face by
minimizing the pores to create a matte look that should last about 12 hours.
The box says that you can either put it on before or after foundation
so you can reapply whenever you feel like it.

I've only had this product for a week so I haven't used to it too much but if you're
interested I can do a more in-depth review later on once I get to see the pros and cons of this product.
Just make sure you let me know in the comments if you would like a separate post for this!!

NARS Radiant Cream Concealer in Custard
When I was researching this, it seemed like every makeup guru/blogger had this concealer
and I wouldn't blame them. I've tried this concealer out a couple of times and I love how opaque
it is and how it makes the area around my eyes brighter and seemingly more flawless(:
I don't really have dark bags or circles to begin with but ehh, the less discoloration, the betterlol

Eyeshadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay
The reason why I didn't put up a picture for the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer is because this was a re-purchase for me so I didn't think to give it its own photoshoot. I already had a tube of it but it was running low. My first time purchasing this product was from Ulta. I really love this eyeshadow primer because it really does what it's meant to do and that is to prime your eyelid and prevent your eyeshadow from creasing, as well as keeping the colors vibrant. I've had this eyeshadow primer for about 2 years now and it still works wonderfully^_^

So that is my small take on all of the products so far. I bet most of you already have these items, but still, what are your thoughts of them? How are they working for you? Please feel free to drop a comment below to share your thoughts!!

On an entirely different note, I can't believe New Year's is almost here ( ꒪Д꒪)ノ. This year really did go by so fast, well at least to me it did, it may have gone longer than expected for some of you ahah Still, 2014 is just around the corner (not kidding, it's  2 days from now (○o○) ) and I hope the new year will bring lots of smiles, laughs, and wonderful surprises for all of you lovelies out there 。^‿^。

Well, that's it for now. Thank you for reading and I'll see you again soon!! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

OOTD: Winter Black

It really has been a long timeO_O I seriously don't remember the last time I logged on to this website. I am really sorry I haven't been good at updating this blog of mine but with finals and work, I just got so overwhelmed>_< But while we're on that subject, I hope everyone who's in school did well on their finals!!I just finished last Monday so I am so happy to be free. But shortly after I had to hurry and do all my Christmas shopping so that was pretty hectic as well.

I bought mostly gifts for my family and friends but I did snag some things for myself that I will show you shortly in my next post (I promise that one won't take 2 months like this one ahah).

I really feel like I spent way too much this year. I think it's the season, like there's something about Christmas that makes me a very giving person.....which is bad since I'm close to being broke. Sighs...I need to plan better next year...

Anyways, here's a long overdue OOTD!!I took it earlier today and I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't freezing my butt off. The wind was blowing at about 15-20 mph and I had to fix my hair a whole bunch of times. I tried not to show it and I think I did pretty well but maybe next time I should include some "behind the scenes" pictures so you could see and feel the pain and suffering with me, because as they say, sharing is caring 〜( ̄▽ ̄〜)  ahah

 Crop top from Charlotte Russe
Skirt and Accessories from H&M
Cardigan from SammyDress
Shoes were bought by my boyfriend from my Pinterest for Christmas last yearlol

It was probably really dumb of me to eat a full course meal before taking these pictures....
And since it was freezing, I'm not sure if my arm is holding onto my body for warmth
or trying to hold down all the food in my bellylol

So how are all of you guys doing??Have you all finished your Christmas shopping??I still have one or two and yes I know it's extremely late since Christmas is 2 days from now but I don't see them until after so I'm safe^_^

I've really missed all of you and I am definitely going to start blogging more again, especially with this long break I have(: Please comment below if you liked this OOTD and also, you can tell me about your favorite Christmas memory if you'd like. I would love to hear about it!!

Thank you very much for reading and I will see you soon!!°˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

OOTD: Sweather with a chance of Grey

So here is my long overdue OOTD for you guys!!The weather's been getting colder so I'm starting to break out the sweaters^_^ I really like big sweaters because they just feel more comfortable, like you can do anything in them. And when I say anything, I mean sleep all day long while cuddling up into a ball(:

Sweater from H&M
Skinnies from Love Culture
Boots from Forever21

If you squint, it looks like I only have one foot.
I just did it and man that looks super weird ahah

Thumbs up for my boyfriend who helps me take these pictures cause I have not yet been able to buy a tripod. There was actually a person who was there and we had to awkwardly wait for to them to cross the bridge before we started taking pictures againlolAnyways, I think this is one of my favorite sweaters, it is really soft, unlike those weird itchy ones I used to wear when I was a kidlol

Also, I'm not sure if you can tell but I cut my hair!!It was actually like a month ago but I haven't been posting in a while so I can't blame you for not knowing ahah There was just a lot of split ends I wanted to take care of and I just thought it'd be nice for a change. Not really that drastic though because not a lot of people actually noticelolOh wells, I tried.

Thank you for dropping by and I'll see you guys again soon!! 〜( ̄▽ ̄〜)

Have a "Charm"-ing Halloween

Happy Halloween lovelies!!It has been forever since my last post but I was surely not going to miss my chance for one on HalloweenlolI will be posting up another OOTD post soon so please make sure you look out for that(: I'll probably have it up by tomorrow or this weekend. The weather's been really weird lately so I get confused about what to wear. Some days it's really cold, but then there's some that if I wear my jacket for too long, I start sweating):

Also, I've been sick for about 2 weeks now so that hasn't been going well. It's mostly coughing now but I get bursts of sneezes where it feels like my body's trying to take everything out through my nose...wait, that visual's just too weird...well Halloween's weird too so maybe that works??Oh gosh, forgive melol

.......Back to the point of this post ahah So in the spirit of the holiday, I made Halloween-themed charms^_^ I wish I could've made more but testings have been popping out of nowhere and car troubles keep finding me o(TヘTo). Also, there wasn't too many charms to choose from from the store that I went to so I chose the two I liked best(: I'm not sure how I would even attempt Thanksgiving charms come November....I don't think anyone would want a turkey....would they??ahah

But anyways, tell me what you think!!
Please also take this time to tell me about how you spent your Halloween!!
I'm just a curiously cat so don't be afraid to share(:
I'll see you guys later and I hope you guys had a great Halloween  ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Dinner at The Sundial

So hey there again lovelies!!^_^ I really wish I could update more frequently but there's been exams and a lot of craziness going on I haven't had a chance to sit down to even watch dramas o(╥﹏╥)o.
Sighs, but yesterday my family decided to take a step back and enjoy a nice experience at The Sundial restaurant(: It was my first time going there even though my school is also downtown and I see it all the time. But for those who don't know the restaurant, here's what I find interesting about it.

First, it is located at the top of the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel, the tallest hotel in the Western Hemisphere. The hotel is 72 stories high so yes, if you're afraid of heights, that might freak you out a bit. The elevator ride up to the restaurant takes about 85 seconds and since it has glass windows, you'll get to see the city as you go. Personally, I found it very fun to be able to see the city view as we went up 723 feet, but again, that might be frightening to some of youO.Olol
Secondly, the restaurant..spins. Yes, it spins. The hotel itself does not but only the very top floor does, which is where the restaurant is located. It's not a fast spin so you don't have to worry about your food flying. It's pretty slow since our waitress told us that it takes the restaurant about one hour to make a full revolution. But because of this, it helps you see more of the city lights and just take in all the beauty of the night sky. The restaurant has two floors I believe. We dined on the first floor on the restaurant and the bar was on the second.

Now, let's talk about food. This was a very upscale fancy restaurant so yes the food was highly overpriced and they're fairly small portions, depending what you get. But anyways, I would like to share with you guys some of the dishes we ordered yesterday. Some of my critiques may be harsh but I can't help it, I'm just very passionate about foodlol

For the appetizer, my brother got the "Wild Gulf Shrimp wrapped in Bacon."
When it came out I was just thinking about how nice it looked, I mean
this is what fancy restaurants do, make their food pretty and small ahah
But as for taste, there was nothing really special about this appetizer.
Still, if you like shrimp and bacon, this would definitely be the plate for you.

For my meal I got the "Seared Scottish Salmon."
I usually really like fish but I sort of disappointed with this dish):
The little bits of bacon were nice with the peas and edamame but I just expected  more from the
salmon because I didn't really get that much flavor out of it and some parts were raw):
But still I ate all of it because I was super hungry. The food took a while to come
out so our starving bellys were left waiting for some time.

My sister got the "Low Country Boil" for her meal.
She said she liked it but it was not at all worth $55.
And for my parent's dishes, they got the same thing as my brother and sister
so there was no point in me taking 2 pictures of the same thinglol

For dessert, my brother got the "Smoked Chocolate Pâté."

For mine, I got the "Magnolia Buttermilk Tart."
I personally thought that the tart was sort of bland but I really
enjoyed the lemon sorbet(: It looks so cute in the picture.

Lastly, my sister got the "creamy vanilla cheesecake."
All of the desserts were $9 so they weren't as outrageous as the dishes.

I think that The Sundial is best for it's view and atmosphere because from what I could see, the view was the best you could get from Atlanta and the fact that the restaurant revolves only made it much more awesome but the food just left me a bit disappointed. Though it certainly wasn't bad food, there are definitely a lot of other dishes out there that I would've enjoyed much more and at less than half the price. I think I just came in with a lot of expectations for it so it left me a bit bummed. It may have been just been the particular dishes we had that I didn't like so to each their own. The elevator ride down made me feel better^_^

My overall rating??
Food: 2/5
Service: 4/5

So if you're ever in Atlanta and want to see a great view of it, I would definitely recommend The Sundial, but not if you're looking for spectacular food. If you just want the view, the bar would be my suggestion. If you've ever been, please feel free to tell me about your experience, I would love to hear it^_^

Thank you for reading and I'll see you guys later!! d(°▿°)b

Anime Weekend Atlanta

Hi guys!!So AWA was this weekend and I thought I'd share my first experience with you(: I've never been to any type of convention so I was actually really excited to go  O(≧∇≦)O. A lot of my friends went though I only got to see a few of them.

Truthfully, I don't watch a lot of anime. The last two animes I watched were "Darker than Black" Season 1 and "Sket Dance." They were really good so I would recommend them if any of you are looking for an anime to watch(: Still, my favorite characters of all time are Sesshomaru from Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin  ∩(︶▽︶)∩. Other than that....I pretty much know nothing about anime. I rarely ever read manga (please don't kill me if you're a big fan of manga). I think the only manga I ever read was "Fruits Basket."  Anyways, though I stared around clueless most of the time, I got to see a lot of interesting characters. Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday.  (ヘ。ヘ)

Me with Rilakkuma!!
The person underneath the costume was actually a girl and she was very sweet
though it must've been really hot under the costume  (⊙…⊙ )
I think she was my favorite character of the day ^_^

The event was held at Cobb Galleria Center
but it's also connected to the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel
so I went from that direction and this is what you'll see when you first walk in from there.
I got there around 2.

This is the Dealer's Room where you get the merchandise to fill all of your anime-related needs.
There were so many Japanese products there!!
From weapons and costumes to circle lenses and plushies  °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

It was surprising to see that they also had 2 KPop booths.
I didn't take a picture of the other one but it's pretty much the same thing.

Now, I really do love pikachu but yesterday I just saw way too many people dressed up as
pikachu. They were pretty much everywhere so my suggestion to any of you guys who want to
dress up next year is, unless you have a dying passion for pikachu, try to avoid dressing up as him
because there's going to be about 100 other people who also will.

 Me and my friend Joel

I may not know much about anime but I knew enough to know that
she was from Kingdom Heartslol
I absolutely love her shoes!!Look at how big and comfy they are!!

I seriously had no idea who these guys are but they looked
I think the guy in the puffy white suit next to me was a mascot for an aqua tissue type thing ahah
By the way, have you guys noticed my awesome panda shirt?? (´ ▽`).。o♡

Me with Himeko and Switch from the anime "Sket Dance"
I just finished watching the Anime less than a month ago so I was really excited to see them^_^
By the way, in case you guys know what anime I'm talking about,
Switch's notebook says "Have you seen our leader?"

Little side story. So when I saw them I immediately came rushing after them to ask for
a picture, I was so nervous that when I was telling them how I just finished watching it,
I accidentally said "drama" instead of "anime"....I'm still mortified ~(>_<~)
I also took a picture with Hei from "Darker than Black" but it came out blurry so it's no good):
But still, seeing characters from the last two animes I watched was pretty exciting^_^tehe

The pikachu shirt has to be my absolute favorite out of all the ones I saw.
Isn't it adorable!?!?!?!?!?
The "call me Zelda one more time" shirt was pretty funny too ahah

Me and my friend Eugene who went as Daft Punk(:

Since this was my first time, I wasn't expecting to get much so this is just what I got this year.
Plus, a lot of stuff was crazy expensive and this girl ain't got that kind of money yet.
James got me the earrings(: because come on, panda earrings are right down my alley^_-
But I'll definitely plan better next year and get more stuff to show you guys!!

Overall, I would say that it was great experience and I had lots of fun!!I think I'll definitely go back next year but probably in costume. I don't know as who yet but with so many options I'll think of something ahah

Have you guys ever gone??Would you like to??If so, who would you like to go as??
Please feel free to tell me in the comments(:

Thank you for reading and I'll see you guys next time!! 。◕‿◕。

OOTD: Denim and Chiffon

Hi there lovelies!!!Sorry I haven't been posting much, I've just been so busy lately, I'm barely getting enough sleep as it is o(╥﹏╥)o. But better later than never right??ahah So here's another OOTD for you guys(: Again, sorry about the quality of some of the pictures, I'm still looking for a good inexpensive camera to buy that won't make me have to sell my belongings.

Hmm, so I took this on Tuesday and for some reason, there was a lot of's like I'm constantly battling with nature in my OOTD posts (¬_¬”). I mean come on, it went from me frying like an egg to tasting my hair because the wind wouldn't stop blowing it in my face....if I'm chipping ice off my nose in the next one, I'll surrender (ノ#-_-)ノ ....maybelol

Anyways, let's get down to business ♪ (sing it in Shang's voice). Here are the pictures!! 。◕‿◕。

 Denim Shirt - Forever 21
Chiffon Romper - Body Central
Shoes - Payless
Jewelry - Forever 21

Sorry there's only 3 pictures but it's because
the wind and me had a few disagreements about whether my
hair looked better laying flat or in my face.

I don't even know how to explain how my face looked
like in this picture..somewhere between (´⊙ω⊙`) and ( ̄□ ̄;)...if that makes senselol

And so, since I only have 3 pictures for the OOTD, let's add in a FOTD picture!!I remember searching it on google and they told me it stood for "friend of the day".......what the heck man, like I have that many friends to do that (- __ -) . Any who, I now believe it means "face of the day." Please correct me if I'm wrong because a lot of the times I am.

I don't really do much when it comes to makeup
so this is what my face looks like 90% of the time, so yea, nothing special.

Eyeshadow - Golden Glow by E.L.F (I used very little so you can't really see it)
Eyeliner - Essential Liquid Eyeliner by E.L.F
Mascara - Maybelline Volume Express
Lips - Peaceful Pink Lip balm by E.L.F
Face - Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Suncreen and Airspun Loose Face Powder
(I usually use my Neutrogena Mineral Powder but I ran out. However, I do like this one too.)

As you can see, I don't really spend that much on makeuplol
You can also see my review on the eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lip balm here.

Also, the reason why you're seeing two big eyeballs is because I thought my
eyelashes were looking pretty good so I snapped a few pictures. This is with 2 coats.

Thank you so much for reading guys, I'll see you later!!  °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
...I'm seriously going crazy with these emoticons...
